January 18th, 3pm to 6pm

There are a lot of unspoken rules to making a strong, industry-standard self-tape, and when casting directors are going through hundreds of tapes a day, it's extremely important to impress them in those first few seconds. In this class, you'll learn:

• How to look your best with the right lighting 

• What to wear and what backdrop color compliments you the best 

• How to make your tape look good when you don't have access to lights or a backdrop (those deadlines are no joke!).

• Memorization techniques

• How to approach physical actions in a tape

• Personalization

*Participants will be assigned a script to tape and turn in before class. It's strongly recommended to sign up at least 3 days before the class so they have time to prepare the material.
