Foundations Acting Technique Workshop
Dates: 02/22, 03/01, 03/09 (Monday), 03/15, 03/22 & 03/29
Time: 7:30-9:30PM
The art of acting is a never ending journey of self-discovery, and every actor's process is unique. Whether you are just getting started or you've been acting for a while, the goal of this class is to arm you with practical, foundational techniques that will help you prepare effectively for every role. Over this 6-week course, we will go over:
Finding yourself in the role
How to rehearse without getting stuck in a line-read
Basic script analysis tools
Memorization techniques
Emotional depth
How to think as your character
*Participants will be assigned a script and reading material one week before the first class.
