There are a lot of unspoken rules to making a strong, industry-standard self-tape, and when casting directors are going through hundreds of tapes a day, it's extremely important to impress them in those first few seconds. In this class, you'll learn:
How to look your best with the right lighting
What to wear and what backdrop color compliments you the best
How to make your tape look good when you don't have access to lights or a backdrop (those deadlines are no joke!).
Memorization techniques
How to approach physical actions in a tape
Personalization
*Participants will be assigned a script to tape and turn in before class. It's strongly recommended to sign up at least 3 days before the class so they have time to prepare the material.
